Mark Hornbuckle, CEO
After working in the construction industry for 22 years, Mark has successfully founded and is now 17 years into leading a consulting / training firm in Metro Atlanta; HB NEXT. Mark started in the construction industry from the ground – up; at the age of 16 he worked as a surveyor to the culmination of his career at the age of 38 as general superintendent for a major construction company located in Atlanta, GA. Completing construction for companies such as IBM, Scientific Atlanta, the American Cancer Society, Universal Studios and Concourse “E” of the Hartsfield Jackson International Airport; Mark has set the standard for Instruction for the industry with his knowledge of Budget, Schedule, Quality, Safety & People (B-S-Q-S&P). Mark is a dynamic speaker and is capable of tailoring a plan from the early phase of a project to the ribbon cutting.
Tony Middlebrooks, President
Tony Middlebrooks is the President and one of the founders of HB NEXT. Tony has been involved in residential construction since his youth, and then he transitioned into the software business in the 80s. His expertise centers around residential construction, software architecture / design, & business process improvement.
When it comes to philanthropy Tony and his wife Edie created a foundation to raise money to support international and local orphan children. The foundation “Arthur’s Call” held their 1st annual black tie event in November of 2006 at the Georgia Aquarium in the Oceans Ballroom. With over 900 people in attendance they were able to raise over $200,000 for the charity. And in 2007 the foundation helped raise $100,000 for Christian City Children’s Village in Union City Georgia. In 2010 Hope for the World purchased property and renovated a teenage orphanage in Albania with the funds raised by Arthur’s Call.
Tony currently serves on the board of directors for the Hope for the World Foundation in Albania and Good Samaritan Missions in Honduras.
