Flagger Certification Training

The flagger’s role is to protect project personnel and provide safe, courteous, and authoritative directions to traffic seeking passage through the work area. This course will teach students standard flagger control references, proper flagging signals procedures, and standard flagger practices for various situations. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive an ATSSA Flagger Certification card.

Class Time: 8AM – 12PM

This is a fast-paced, 8-hour course designed to assist your supervisors, foremen, estimators and workers in confined space safety and to meet the required OSHA standards. It includes an introduction to OSHA, review of 29 CFR Parts 1926.1201 thru 1926.1213, and the identification of various types of confined spaces in construction. Additionally, this course covers duties of the employer, confined space permitting, hazardous atmospheres, PPE requirements and rescue equipment. All attendees will receive a student manual and a laminated course completion card.

Este curso acelerado de 8 horas está diseñado para ayudar a sus supervisores, capataces, estimadores y trabajadores en la seguridad en espacios confinados y a cumplir con las normas de OSHA. Incluye una introducción a OSHA, un repaso de las partes 1926.1201 a 1926.1213 del Título 29 del Código de Regulaciones Federales (CFR) y la identificación de los distintos tipos de espacios confinados en la construcción. Además, abarca las obligaciones del empleador, los permisos para espacios confinados, las atmósferas peligrosas, los requisitos de EPP y el equipo de rescate. Todos los asistentes recibirán un manual del estudiante y una tarjeta plastificada de finalización del curso.

Prior to registering for this class, all prospective trainees must acknowledge that this virtual presentation of the Excavation Competent Person class does not satisfy the training and/or continuing education requirements outlined by the Georgia Secretary of State’s office for initial licensure, or license renewals. Only approved safety courses taught in-person by a qualified instructor are eligible for consideration by the Licensing Board. It covers an introduction to OSHA standards, a review of 29 CFR Part 1926.33, Part 1926.50, Part 1910.20, Part 1910.1030, emergency care qualification by student demonstration and hands on practice and use of manikins to develop knowledge, skill and confidence. All attendees will receive a completion card upon completion.

It covers an introduction to OSHA Subpart CC, a review of 29 CFR Part 1926.1400 thru 1926.1441, a review of ANSI and Crane Management Plan, mandatory crane inspection and maintenance, critical lift planning, protection of the public, communication and crane signals – ANSI and OSHA Reviews. All attendees will receive a student training manual and a certificate of completion. This is not a CCO – (Certified Crane Operator) Class.

It includes an introduction to Georgia Dig Law, an overview of Georgia Overhead Law, the rules of the Georgia Underground Marking Standards and all attendees will receive a student manual and a laminated class card for this course.

This 4 hour course designed to meet GUFPA’s required training as well as educate all others in the utility laws and dangers. This course is approved for four hours continuing education credit by the Georgia Secretary of State. It includes an introduction to Georgia Dig Law, an overview of Georgia Overhead Law, the rules of the Georgia Underground Marking Standards and all attendees will receive a student manual and a laminated class card for this course.

Only approved safety courses taught in-person by a qualified instructor are eligible for consideration by the Georgia Public Service Commission. This 8 hour course is designed to meet your supervisors, foremen, estimators, and workers needs in excavation & trenching safety and the required OSHA standards. It includes an introduction to OSHA, review of 29 CFR Part 1926.650 – 1926.654, soil analysis procedures, sloping options and requirements, use of tabulated data and an understanding of hazardous atmospheres. All attendees will receive a student manual including Subpart P, and a laminated course completion card for this course.

This 8 hour course is designed to meet your supervisors, foremen, estimators, and workers needs in excavation & trenching safety and the required OSHA standards. It includes an introduction to OSHA, review of 29 CFR Part 1926.650 – 1926.654, soil analysis procedures, sloping options and requirements, use of tabulated data and an understanding of hazardous atmospheres. All attendees will receive a student manual including Subpart P, and a laminated course completion card for this course.

It includes introduction to OSHA standards, the “Duty” of the employer, Subpart “M” General Requirements, a review of 1926.500 – 1926.503, Personal Fall Arrest Systems, demonstration of Fall Protection – PPE, and how to develop and maintain a Fall Protection Plan.

Este curso de 8 horas está diseñado para satisfacer los requisitos de entrenamiento para sus Supervisores, Capataces, Estimadores y Trabajadores Generales sobre las Reglas de Seguridad y Protección Contra Caídas debajo de las Estándares Federales de OSHA que son aplicables. Se incluye una introducción a las normas de OSHA (Administración de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional de EE.UU.), las Responsabilidades del Empleador, los Requisitos generales de la Subparte “M” (Protección Contra Caídas), una revisión de las leyes debajo de los Estándares de 1926.500 – 1926.503, Sistemas Personales de Protección Contra Caídas, y una demostración de cómo usar sistemas de protección contra caídas – el Equipo de Protección Personal (PPE, en inglés), y cómo diseñar y mantener su plan para prevención de caídas en su sitio de trabajo.

This 8 hour  virtual course is designed to meet your supervisors, foremen, estimators, and workers needs in fall protection safety and the applicable OSHA standards. It includes introduction to OSHA standards, the “Duty” of the employer, Subpart “M” General Requirements, a review of 1926.500 – 1926.503, Personal Fall Arrest Systems, demonstration of Fall Protection – PPE, and how to develop and maintain a Fall Protection Plan.

Employee training includes, but is not limited to:
• An introduction to the Global Harmonization System (GHS)
• An introduction to Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Description of the jobs where these hazards are present
Also:
• Physical and health hazards of the chemicals that present potential exposure
• Personal protection requirements for chemicals
• Spill reporting requirements and planning considerations
• Emergency procedures and documentation

The objective of the NCCER Fundamentals of Crew Leadership course is to introduce and/or reiterate to the supervisor the fundamentals of effective supervision emphasizing professionalism through knowledge, experience and applied skills. This course will cover the following topics: How to become a professional field supervisor, how to apply a total safety performance program through effective preplanning and project scheduling, how to prepare daily and weekly plans and schedules, how to manage important working relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other contractors, and how to be an effective leader and motivator.

THIS CLASS WILL REQUIRE LAPTOP COMPUTERS FOR EACH TRAINEE, TO ADMINISTER THE ELECTRONIC TESTING, MUST PROVIDE OWN LAPTOP.

HB NEXT DOES NOT PROVIDE COMPUTER HARDWARE/LAPTOPS FOR TRAINEES.

In this course you will learn to implement an effective Erosion and Control Program. Learn NPDES document requirements, learn to properly inspect BMP’s and you will obtain your Level 1A Certification. A written exam is given at the end of the class. A citizenship verification is required for all applicants taking this course.
